Massage can be a useful tool for family-based health care, especially for relieving stress and anxiety, releasing pain from muscle soreness after a tiring day. A massage table can be made into  an ordinary household furniture.  Eastern and western massage techniques can be taught in school as common household skills like cooking, driving, and first aid.

Learning from Asian meditative arts like hatha yoga, massage can be both therapeutic for both receiver and giver with integration of proper body mechanics, proper breathing, focused awareness for the practitioner, and enhancing the effects of massage application with herbal aromatherapy and meditative sounds and music.

Before engaging in training programs for community development programs as well as professional career programs in massage therapy, CIM will further develop its in-house training capabilities by cross-training with other massage schools overseas.  Finally, Filipino Massage (Hilot) will also be studied and introduced as it will be the cornerstone of the DOH's licensure examinations in the coming years, replacing Swedish Massage (which is the main focus of Practical massage component  till this year of the DOH Massage Licensure Examinations).
