CIM staff are currently undergoing training in Chinese, Filipino, and Thai traditional massage techniques. In the future, CIM will be able to undertake training programs in Asian traditional massage therapies for frontline health caregivers and for family-based complementary health care. Until now, the Philippine Department of Health's basic massage requirement is Swedish type of massage; in the near future, the DOH basic requirement will shift to Filipino Hilot , the Philippine's indigenous massage system.
